Since recognizing the importance of including people living with dementia in the opportunities Old School creates we have been scouring and soaking up opportunities for learning from across the globe related to dementia education and dementia and the arts. Creative Connections is a tool we have shaped to give artists working with us, carers in the community, and families who want to learn more about dementia the tools they will need to engage with compassion, knowledge, and creativity! A better understanding of dementia is forged through the arts, and arts-based tools are explored to enhance connection.
